SUMMARY:Barnyard Fun! Cellars and Snakes with Buster
DESCRIPTION:The Oldham County History Center’s Barnyard Fun! events coincide with the La Grange farmer’s market\, running from May to October. These events are both fun and educational\, offering chances to learn about the world of the past\, engage with artifacts\, learn historical skills\, and more. Barnyard Fun! Events are hosted in or around the Dahlgren Pioneer Barn on the History Center’s campus. These events are always free to the public and run on Saturday mornings from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM\, offering the perfect chance for parents to bring their kids over after they get done at the farmer’s market. At the History Center\, we try to make sure that the roster of events always offers variety while also keeping some “fan favorite” activities around. Some examples of our Barnyard Fun! events include “In the Garden with Jan\,” Baseball Day\, Historical Printing Press Day\, Petting Zoo Day\, and many more! Feel free to drop by on Saturday mornings and see what we have going on!

DESCRIPTION:This event is a celebration of Oldham County’s “Living Treasures\,” members of the community who have been featured in our monthly Living Treasures program with articles featured in the Oldham Era. \n  \nThis reception will take place in the Rob Morris Education Building from 1 PM to 4 PM on January 25th. \n  \nAll Living Treasures are invited to attend and to bring along friends and family! \nAll others should call ahead\, as seating is limited and reserved for Living Treasures and their invitees first and foremost.
